RCEIAC First Visit for Taiwan-Philippine Medical Industry


The RCEIAC team members, Prof. Fang-Rong Chang of Graduate Institute of Natural Products at Kaohsiung Medical University led Dr. Yi-Hong Tsai, Ms. Dai-Yun Yang and Mr. Allen Chao to the Philippines for a visit of Taiwanese businesspeople based in the Philippines to interview the topics on the development and industrial talent cultivation of medical cooperation.

The EG HEALTHCARE, INC. General Manager, Mr. Jason Nien mentioned that they provide Taiwanese students internship opportunities every summer vacation. The duration of the internship lasts 2 months for 2 qualified students who are interested in marketing.

    EG Healthcare, Inc. is a subsidiary of Excelsior Healthcare Group of Taiwan, a publicly listed company and the market leader in providing Dialysis Services in Taiwan, currently manages more than 100 dialysis centers with a total of 5,500 dialysis patients and 1,500 dialysis machines throughout Asia.

Furthermore, the RCEIAC interviewed the Country Manager of Medtecs International Corporation Limited, Mr. John Chen, which he encouraged Taiwan manufacturers to start up business in the Philippines since the domestic consumer market and the wholesome legal system of the nation.
